211OC helps people find the help they need. Callers seeking assistance can dial 211 (toll-free) 24 hours a day and be connected to trained, multilingual Information and Referral specialists. Accessing a database with information on more than 2,000 government and nonprofit agencies offering approximately 5,000 specialized services. These include resources about food and employment assistance, access to affordable health and housing options, help for an ailing parent or substance abuse information for a teen and much more.
